Meet Ms. Abril!​

Hello! 

I’m a Blue Butterflies teacher here at Growing with Pride! My educational journey began right here in the community; I’m a proud graduate of Tualatin High School and continued my education at Portland Community College for two years.

I’m bilingual in Spanish and English, and I love weaving both languages into our daily activities. It’s truly rewarding to create a classroom where all children feel comfortable, seen, and engaged. What I enjoy most is helping kids grow and building strong relationships with them. Seeing their faces light up as they learn something new—or simply knowing I’ve made a positive connection—is what makes this job so special!
